The Science of Speed took residence at the Car and Boat show held by Streetwise Sounds, in conjunction with the T&T Powerboats Association. The event was scheduled to begin at 3 pm but we got there about 20 min. past that, and it took us a further 30 mins to get in!
During the line to get the vehicles in, it was drizzling....the minute we arrived it stopped and the weather held fine for the rest of the day! The crowd was enormous, the noise levels stupendous and our booth was well attended. |

Under the booth, some of the titles on display, in the background Sarah-Jane's Mazota (Toyota powered Mazda) Rally car.

This particular bling machine/light show/club-in-a-SUV was sounding particularly impressive when it left from the booth next to ours to go to the judging area. Our ears are not as bad as we often think, since on its return it was sporting the 1st place trophy on the hood!

Firepower on land and in the water!

The much-anticipated Fujitsu Fury Cat, the arch-nemesis of Mr. Solo in the big-power battle to Tobago on August 31st! This bloody boat was so big we could not get it all in one shot from a reasonable distance!

The Chevy 350cubic inch-based beast that powers the Mint Cars Rail.....a 1500hp monster that is capable of 7 secs, now driven by 18yr. old Misha Luke! |

Not really a best choice of colour in our opinion, but looking clean nonetheless was this Lexus Altezza! |

Without recalling what vehicle this was shot from, it caught our eye as one of the better installation/showcase jobs that we saw...kinda looked like it belonged properly on the Starship Enterprise or maybe a sci-fi flick...or is that now sy-fy?Looks like 12Volts Customizing strikes again!

And of course no gallery is complete without the fembotage! The Carib Girls in their glee atop a toyota-powered water vessel.
